How many times is too many?
Lennox has started pulling up on everything but all signs point to him having his mother's coordination. Where he wants to go and where his feet want to go are not the same direction so he falls and smacks his face & head all day long. He hasn't bled yet, I guess that's a good sign, and he doesn't have any teeth yet, so they are not in danger of getting knocked out. I know he has to figure this all out on his own but I cannot stand for him to get hurt one, two, three, ... ten times EVERYDAY! Surely this gets better quickly!?

New pictures...
but they aren't on the blog. Sorry.
I had Lennox's pictures made a week or two ago. My friend DeAnna did a great job, as always! If you want to check them out her website is http://www.msmemoriesphotography.com/. I can't just post the link straight to the pictures... you have to go to Client Viewing, Click Weddings (i think that was accidental), Click Lennox, then go to the drop down menu and click portraits.
The overalls Lennox is wearing were my dad's when he was a baby and the rocking chair that was my mom's. We (me, my siblings, and 1st cousins) all had our pictures made in these overalls as babies. I think everyone in the next generation has also worn them... It is kind of a random tradition but I think it's still a tradition.
**Disclaimer: No goldfish were harmed in the production of these pictures, even if it appears that the gold fish has seen better days. Goldie was returned to the bowl and lived a good long week before going belly up of natural causes.

Who is Dar-not anyway?!

Since my sister is computer illiterate & refuses to create her own blog, I am going to do my duty as a good aunt and start capturing some of the hilariousness that is my niece, Avery. This is just one of the things Avery said this week that cracked us up:
My sister heard Avery playing in her room and Avery said "darnot!" My sister stuck her head in the door and said "Avery... we don't say darnet." Avery responded "why not, Grace says dar-not all the time. She's always talking about Dar-not... who is Dar-not anyway?!"
Ha. She's so innocent and so funny. Who is Dar-not?

8 Months
Lennox was 8 months old on Sunday. I cannot believe how fast the time has gone. We had his pictures made that day so I'll have to post a few once they are up. He was not in the greatest mood so I'm not sure how they turned out.
Yesterday we stayed at home and played all day. He is so busy these days. It is very difficult to keep him contained! I just love to watch how quickly he is learning things. Just yesterday he pulled up to a standing position on his activity table, he learned how to push his truck back and forth and make it roll so he could chase it, he found the cubby hole on his activity table and put the tylenol bottle in there, he ate table food and actually liked it (peas, carrots, banana). Ok, for a mom these things are major, for anyone else... probably not so much. He also decided he would give the boy in the mirror kisses... he loved that. It was pretty cute! Every time I walked away from the mirror he would scream so we could go back. That boy in there was just so cute and fun to play with! He screams to go outside as well. I guess he thinks he can get what he wants if he screams... wonder who taught him that!?
