We had a break through

M&M's really are magic pills I guess... I always pretended that when I was little but they apparently do work magic.

Sunday morning I asked Lennox if he wanted to peepee in the potty. He sat down and sure enough, he went peepee. It was a big deal because it was his first successful attempt at using it on command! We made a really big deal about dumping the potty chair into the big potty, flushing the peepee bye bye, and then he got a small handful of M&Ms. I thought that was probably it for the day but the next thing I know, he took off his diaper and peepee'd in the potty again. Jay was attending this session and gave up too quickly. The next thing he knew Lennox had taken his own potty to the big potty and was flushing it bye bye... he missed the big potty and we had a little peepee to clean up but it was no big deal. Anyway, he promptly asked for M&M's and we proudly obliged! A while later he needed to peepee again and I thought, surely, this is just a ploy for more candy. I walked away and the next thing I know, he had poopoo'd on the potty!!! WOW?! This trend continued throughout the day. I am so proud! I know, it seems silly but this is a big accomplishment! Yesterday wasn't as big of a success but he had alot of distractions. We took his potty and M&M's to Pop today so hopefully he will be back in potty mode. How great will that be if I have just one baby in diapers? I know, I shouldn't jump the gun but I am excited he is interested.
