15 Months

What are you looking at?!

• Lennox is running full speed, twirling in circles, walking side ways for some reason, trying to flip over, dancing around the room... Last night he was doing ballet and watching his reflection in the window thinking he was SO cute (and he was). He gets to watch Chloe at ballet class so he copies what he sees. ha. Jay might have to start picking him up before dance class starts!
• He loves to play chase. That's a new game for him.
• He's obsessed with the golf club and golf ball. He saw Jay hitting the ball in the yard one day and it has been an obsession since then. He is also obsessed with feeding Papa's horse.
• If I catch him on a good day, Lennox can tell me where his eyes, nose, teeth, tongue, hair, feet, and hands are located. On a bad day... you might get slapped.
• He is so rough. He hits (like i've said repeatedly) any time he isn't happy. He hits when he is happy. He throws things across the room just for fun. He bangs his head on the wall to hear the pictures hanging above bang the wall. It's not an uncommon occurance for me to be driving down the road and see a pacifier or sippy cup fly by my ear. He's really not a bad boy though, he's just rough.
• He gives the best hugs. I love when he raps his arms around my neck and hugs me. He loves to hug everyone, even strangers. He runs up to kids in the store, doctor's office, church, or where ever and bear hugs them. It's pretty sweet but some kids don't really like hugs apparently... sometimes they push him. (and he might hit them in the face!)
• He sits in time-out for hitting. Well, let me be honest, I put him in the time-out corner when he hits. Sometimes he sits there, sometimes he lays there, sometimes he crawls away laughing and that's when the battle begins!
• He still eats really well and is using a fork and spoon. He doesn't always make it to his mouth with food on the utensil but he's getting better.
• Lennox is repeating lots of words but he mostly gibber jabbers. He says mama, dada, bye, ball. He learned to say "Oh Man" like Swiper and yesterday he said "cookie jar." That is kind of a random thing to blurt out but he was playing with his singing cookie jar shape sorter at the time. He still barks at every dog he sees whether it is in person or on TV. He has started meowing at cats too and he moos if you tell him to. Funny to me.
• His favorite toys are his balls, balloons, books (ABCs & Rip Squeak Colors), Little Tykes cruiser, Little People toys, & the Sesame Street pop up toy. He still loves to wear shoes and hats.
• He has 7 1/2 teeth so far. He hasn't had a hair cut although he definitely needs one. It's just so hard to imagine him losing that baby look.
• Weight is 25.2 lbs and height is 32.5". His head is still in the 90th percentile. He's wearing 18-24 month clothes.
