A Stack of Dimes

- Anyone out there have some creative ideas for packing a toddler lunch? I only have to send Lennox lunch 3x's a week but, I swear, I rack my brain trying to think of something semi-healthy. There are only 2 requirements: no refrigeration required & Lennox will eat it. He always gets PB&J at least once a week because that's his "PAVORITE!" I send sandwiches of all shapes and flavors. When I'm desperate, I send a lunchable. When I'm really desperate, I send a can of ravioli! Help me!!
- I have been doing Jillian Micheal's 30 Day Shred. I never planned to do it every day. I know that would just be setting myself up for failure. My plan is to do it at least every other day and to do each level 10x's before I moved up. Well, I started Level 1 exactly 3 weeks ago and I moved up to Level 2 yesterday. I don't know if it is working but I know I feel 100 times better about myself for making an effort. On Day 1 of Level 1, I practically hyperventilated. I really did. I couldn't walk for 3 days either. Day 2 of Level 2 wasn't half bad so I must be gaining strength if not losing pounds. I do about half of the push ups as girl push ups and Lennox is not happy about it. He tries to pull my knees out from under me and tells me "no mommy... that's not how you do it!"
- No one has bought my house yet. That means no one is going to PA school. :( I haven't told the school yet. I am giving myself 2 more weeks for something to change. I feel ok about it not working out. I prayed about it enough to feel peace about the situation. Maybe it was a mistake in the making? I do feel bad about the time and money I wasted getting ready to apply. Ahhh well, it's just money. Not so easy come, easy go.
- I am finally using the cloth diapers I purchased before Stella was born. I bought a few different kinds but I definitely prefer the Fuzzi Bunz one size. The Bum Genius one size are so bulky. I don't even love the Bum Genius AIO's that I bought. Definitely a Fuzzi Bunz girl... too bad I bought 12 Bum Genius and 2 Fuzzi Bunz. :(

A boy or a robot?
Lennox's favorite inside game is still hiding. He wants to hide under the blankets. He also likes for me to stack pillows on top of him and pretend I can't find him until I fall over the pillows. That cracks him up every time! Kids?! Definitely easily amused. When he gets out of the tub, he wants me to either cover his head with the towel "so he can hide" or he wants me to wrap him up in a towel and pretend I found a dinosaur egg. Then he proceeds to crack out of the egg like a baby dinosaur... Yes, I know, weird. Here is the baby dinosaur in his cage. If you are smart, you won't stick your finger in the cage with the dinosaur. He bites!!
Lately he needs some privacy while on the potty. He tells me to go away until he is PPPinished. :) Gladly! He just came in and told me he thinks his peepee needs to potty! ha. He got busy playing in the yard the other day and had an accident in his pants. Jay took them off and he wasnt' finished so he did a little doodie in the yard. When I got home from work Jay said, "Well, Lennox pooped in the yard!" I said, "No way!!! He didn't." Lennox was sitting on the floor and looked at me like I was about to get it. He was completely indignant and said, "YES. I. DID!" Uh, Excuse me! I didn't know he was proud of it!! Don't worry. I explained that poopoo in the yard is from puppies and rabbits, not people.
Lennox is a good big brother. He is sweet to Stella and he runs by and kisses her head or her leg or her foot periodically throughout the day. He likes to lay by her and I catch him telling her things like, "When you get big, you can jump like this... (as he jumps on one foot)" or "When you get big, you can have a Buzz." Speaking of Buzz, he accidentally hit STella in the head with his big Buzz. She let out the saddest cry. He has never really hurt her before and she totally fell apart. He was so sad, he cried too! I was glad to see that he wasn't happy to hurt her.

Stella is FIVE Months Old!!
Stella is just a sweetheart. Her disposition is just very, well... sweet! She has some fiest in her but not like her big brother (Whew!... just kidding). Even at this young an age, I knew he was going to have attitude! Stella is finally sleeping in her bed for part of the night. That is making a HUGE difference in our household. I feel so much more rested. More Rest = More Patience... and who doesn't need more patience? She has been sleeping for about 6-7 hours in a row. Sometimes we have to give her the pacifier a few times but she's doing really well with the sleep. She can get her pacifier in her mouth by herself sometimes. She is rolling over and squealing and squawking. She started sitting in her jumperoo but she doesn't know how to jump yet. That's ok because she has a personal assistant who makes the jumperoo bounce for her!
I haven't given Stella any solid food yet. I started feeding Lennox at 4 months but the boy was H-U-N-G-R-Y! This girl is just starting to take notice of us eating dinner. I think I will wait a little longer to introduce the solids. She doesn't seem to be ready yet.
Stella loves her brother. LOVES him. She practically breaks her neck to see what he's doing. She will even ignore me in order to see him. That says alot because she LOVES me too! I'm the milk truck. Loving Daddy? Ummm, not so much. LOL. I know that sounds mean but she usually cries when he holds her. By usually I mean always! No worries though because she will love him soon enough.
My baby girl can still fit into 3 month sleepers! Crazy! I really hope she gets to wear her cute clothes. I am going to learn how to make bows today. We had to go to church TWICE without a bow. Yes, I am serious. No bow. The horror!!! She likes her baths and outside. She is a snuggle bug. She has rolls all over and she is super ticklish. All you have to do is touch her ribs and it takes her breath away! She loves her crunchy toys. The ones that have crunchy tissue paper in them.
Stella's hair is kind of wacky. She has rubbed off most of it in the back but she still has a thick, dark patch at her neck. The original hair on top of her head is kind of reddish brown and the new peach fuzz that is growing in is white! She's like a calico cat. :) Her eyes are still crystal blue. I hope they stay that way.
