Me

So I started my last prerequisite for PA school this semester. I went to the Junior College to pick up my book. Since I didn't know where the bookstore was located, I just went into the first building I saw. Standing in front of me were two students... obviously they were just out of high school. They were directing people to Parent's Night. When they saw me in the hallway looking confused, they politely asked if I were there for Parent's Night. WTH? Why didn't they just spit in my face? SERIOUSLY... it's physically impossible for me to have a child at JuCo! :(

I had my PA school interview this past weekend. It was Friday & Saturday morning. I was basically a total basket case by Wednesday. I really thought I was going to crumble under the stress so I did what works for me... I shut her down. That's right. I didn't think about PA school, or my house that's not sold, or uprooting my family, or living in poverty, or anything else that might make me cry. Guess what? It worked great! What I did do was pray about it alot and I just laid it all down. I know that God has a plan for me and for my family. I will wait patiently (or try) for him to reveal it to me. I went to my interview and I really liked the school and the faculty. I don't feel super confident about my chances of getting accepted because there were over 60 people interviewing for 24 spots. However, I know that if the PA thing doesn't work out, there are other things in store for me. I am comfortable with that and confident that my life is not going to end up in the toilet (as I thought it would last week). I have other ideas that I am excited to explore if I have the opportunity. I will let you people know how this turns out...
