After brunch Christmas morning, we rode over to Debbie's house for a while then we hurried back home to pack up and head to Texas. I guess we underestimated the packing up time frame because we didn't leave until about 2 hours after we intended to. Then, we got stuck for over an hour in Baton Rouge... traffic there is always a mess! So, we ended up in a hotel in Shreveport. The kids were ready to get in a bed and so were we. We got to my sister's house the next morning and stayed for 3 days. My brother was also running behind. He missed his flight on Christmas day and then he was the very last flight out of Baltimore before the airport shut down for the blizzard! We were so thankful that everyone finally made it and we were all able to be together as a family.
